Jonkershuis History
Jonkershuis restaurant is co-owned and managed by Tammy Botbyl, Chris Coetzee, Peter Weetman and Laurence Burgess. We have managed and co-owned between us – to name a few - Morton’s on the Wharf, Bertha’s in Simon’s Town, Bravo in Mouille Point. Currently in their portfolio they have Jonkershuis on Groot Constantia, Societi Bistro in Orange Street Gardens and Porter Estate produce market in Tokai.
"We are privileged to work on the oldest wine producing Estate in South Africa" says Chris – working in such a beautiful environment is an easy task.
We are all passionate about our work and love the diversity of working on a Wine Estate. We aim to please and will always strive to meet guests’ expectations. We hope to still be here for the next 20 years... at least!
